Joseph Rousseau

Managing Attorney
Joseph Rousseau leads Wayfinder Law, a law firm dedicated to providing clients exceptional service in the areas of 1) estate planning, wills, and trusts, 2) estate administration and litigation, and 3) personal injury and wrongful death claims. He founded the firm after nearly a decade of working at one of the largest law firms in the St. Louis region. His, Wayfinder Law’s, guiding philosophy follows the “golden rule” – to treat clients how we would want to be treated.

Joseph's desire to help people with estate planning stems from his witnessing families struggle with the terrible problems that can occur when proper estate-related documents are not in place. Joseph’s desire to become a trial attorney arose after he suffered a serious injury while working at a metal foundry after graduating from St. Louis University High School. Both of these experiences shaped how he treats, and works for, his clients.

Joseph obtained a degree in finance from Miami University and later graduated with honors from the University of Illinois College of Law. He is licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and several federal courts.

Outside of practicing law, Joseph enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
